Move That Body is a Synthwave Ableton template that captures the essence of the 80s with its big drums, pulsating bassline, bright synths, and vocoder vocals.
To recreate that signature 80s sound, we ditched all those fancy synth plugins and went for an analog approach. The template is based on our exclusive sample-based synth, Polyx, that we created using clean oscillator waveforms multi-sampled from the iconic 80s synth, Korg Mono/Poly. Every instrument, from bass and lead to pad and effects, was created using Polyx.
Polyx allowed us to produce an analog-sounding tune without bouncing any instruments into audio. This means you have the same level of control over melodies, automation, processing, arrangement, and structure as you would with any other Abletunes template.
While we couldn't replicate all the features of the original synth with a Live instrument rack, we put our spin on it. The result is a neat poly synth with two analog oscillators, essential envelopes, and even separate unison for each oscillator.
So, with this template you get a full-featured synth that beautifully captures the sound of Mono/Poly and offers complete freedom to customize instruments' sound and create your own sounds, be it punchy bass, atmospheric pad, bright lead, or tense riser.
The template is professionally mixed and mastered using Ableton Live's powerful effects so you only need Ableton Live 11 – no third-party software is required. All the necessary samples and instrument racks are included in the project file.
Move That Body is a perfect starting point for Synthwave, Synthpop, and Retro Pop productions, whether you're a newbie or a seasoned producer.
