This Ableton remake of Alar & Korolova’s Symphony gives you a full-length project that you can dissect, explore, and learn how to make Melodic Techno tracks. And it is also a good starting point for your own productions and remixes.
The whole project is very open and flexible. All main instruments are set as MIDI, so you can check what is going on behind every sound. You can see all synth presets, hear individual drum samples, experiment with effect chains, and explore the structure. Nothing is locked, so you can dig into any detail you want.
Since everything is MIDI based, you can change melodies, presets, arrangement, and drum patterns and turn this remake into a completely original track with your own ideas and sounds. You can also save any clip, any rack, any preset, or chain and use them in your future productions.
As always, the template is mixed and mastered with Ableton Live native effects and requires only Serum.
This remake is a solid starting point for Melodic Techno producers and also a useful source of ideas, instruments, and sounds.
For your convenience, the template comes in two versions to ensure compatibility with both Serum 1 and Serum 2.
What you need to work with this Ableton template:
