Mistakes is an Ableton template that blends elements of House, Disco, and Indie Dance, drawing heavy inspiration from ANOTR's track, "24 (Turn It Up)." This template combines electronic and live sounds, featuring a deep bassline, acoustic-style drums, melodic guitar, catchy male vocals, and variety of accompanying instruments.
The template’s main instruments are set as MIDI, allowing you to easily modify and customize them to fit your idea. You can change drum samples, melodies, Serum presets, automation, structure, and many more. Even the guitar part is created with a multisampled instrument rack, so you’re not tied to the original audio and can easily play your own melodies. This flexibility makes it simple to adjust the template to your lyrics or expand brief ideas into complete tracks.
Our Ableton templates are a great way to learn music production, allowing you to break down each element and see how it all fits together. We did our best to show all the little details in the processing and layering. Every vocal track and harmony is left as a separate track so you can see exactly how we put the vocal parts together.
Plus, you can save clips, instrument racks, and processing chains to use in your own tracks.
Mistakes is mixed and mastered with Ableton Live’s native effects, and the only third-party plugin you’ll need is Serum.
What you need to work with this Ableton template:
