Rebound is an Ableton remake of Basstripper’s "Deserted" that brings together punchy drums, a deep-moving bassline, and gritty synths to deliver a face-melding Jump Up Drum & Bass heater.
This Ableton template offers a flexible starting point for producers who want to explore the genre while having full control over each element.
With all the main drum and instrument tracks set as MIDI, nothing is bounced to audio, meaning everything remains fully editable and customizable. You can instantly replace drum samples, change melodies, tweak synth presets, and adjust the processing, arrangement, and structure to shape the track into something uniquely yours. The open nature of our Ableton templates gives you complete freedom to experiment and take the track in any direction you want.
As a learning tool, the template gives you a clear view of the production process. You can dive into every element — whether it’s the drum programming, synth layering, or mastering — and study how each piece fits together. Every track is open for you to dissect, giving you hands-on experience to improve your skills in sound design, arrangement, and mixing.
The template is mixed and mastered using Ableton Live’s native effects, with only one third-party plugin required — Serum.
It’s a great starting point for your production and features all essential sounds for creating modern Drum & Bass tracks.
What you need to work with this Ableton template:
