Zero Phase is a perfect starting point for producing movie soundtracks and trailers with an electronic influence. Inside the template you’ll find punchy breakbeat drums, a rolling bass, an acid-inspired lead line, hypnotic plucks, strings, brass, choir, and supporting synths, stabs, and effects that tie the whole mood together.
All main instruments are MIDI-based, so every part of the project is open for you to shape however you like - swap drum samples, rewrite melodies, tweak Serum presets, adjust processing, change the structure to fit a video timeline, or push it into a more dance-floor-ready breakbeat track.
Because everything runs on MIDI, the template also works as a learning tool. You can solo each drum hit, explore all layers and processing chains, and see how the track is produced from start to finish.
The project is mixed and mastered with Ableton Live’s native effects. The orchestral parts (strings, brass, choir, etc.) are created with multisampled instrument racks included in the project, so you don’t need any external libraries. Serum is the only required plugin.
Whether you’re working on a cinematic breakbeat track or sci-fi soundtracks, Zero Phase will be a solid foundation and inspiration resource.
For your convenience, the template comes in two versions to ensure compatibility with both Serum 1 and Serum 2.
Please note: the project is quite big and resource-heavy, so you may need to freeze some tracks.
