Malawi Lake is an Afro House Ableton template inspired by the sounds of artists like Antdot, Maz, and many others. This template delivers a deep, rhythmic mix of percussive drums, deep bass, emotional piano chords, distant vocal phrases, and shimmering arpeggios.
We design all our templates with full customization in mind, and this one is no exception. All main drum and instrument tracks are set as MIDI, allowing you to easily edit, adjust, and personalize every element. Whether you want to replace drum samples, change melodies, adjust processing, or rework the structure, you have the flexibility to transform this template into something entirely your own.
This level of openness also makes the template an excellent tool for learning Afro House production. You can break down and analyze every sound, from drum patterns to synth presets, track layering, and processing techniques. Each track and sound is open out for you to explore, making it a valuable resource for improving your production skills.
Malawi Lake is mixed and mastered using Ableton Live's native effects, with only one additional third-party plugin required—Serum. This means you won't need to worry about buying extra plugins or sample libraries.
This Ableton template is a strong foundation for producing Afro House tracks, providing you with essential, ready-to-use sounds and instruments, along with the flexibility to reshape the entire template into unique and original productions.
What you need to work with this Ableton template:
