Close Your Eyes is an Ableton remake of Metodi Hristov & Marie Vaunt – Lunae. The track is driven by tight drums and a rolling bassline, with various synth stabs and inserts that keep the momentum going without overcomplicating the arrangement. It’s a clean example of a modern Driving Techno production that you can use as a starting point for your own tracks.
The project is fully editable, so you can easily turn it into an original track filled with your own ideas.
Since the main instruments are set as MIDI tracks, it’s easy to dig into the Serum presets, try different ideas, or repurpose elements for your own productions.
You can change drum samples, melodies, structure, tweak synth presets, adjust processing, and more.
Nothing is frozen or locked, and the only external plugin required is Serum.
This Ableton template isn’t just a track layout - it’s a complete session you can use to kickstart your productions, experiment, or study how a release-ready Techno track is put together in Ableton Live.
For your convenience, the template comes in two versions to ensure compatibility with both Serum 1 and Serum 2.
What you need to work with this Ableton template:
- Ableton Live 10 (or higher) Standard or Suite
- Serum v1.363/v2.0.16 (or higher)
