Funky Shock is an Ableton remake of Nicky Romero's "Bass Down Low." It combines energetic drums, a deep-moving bassline, a sharp lead synth, and a repetitive vocal phrase, creating a driving, high-energy sound.
This template is fully customizable, with all main drum and synth tracks set as MIDI. This gives you complete control to modify every element, from melodies and processing to the arrangement and overall structure. The flexibility of MIDI means you can easily customize the project to match your style or even create an entirely original track. The only limit is your creativity.
Our Ableton templates offer a valuable learning opportunity as well. You can break down every track and explore the drum programming, synth layers, and processing techniques. Each element is ready for you to dissect, making it a practical tool for improving your production skills and gaining insights into genre-specific techniques.
The project has been mixed and mastered using Ableton Live's native effects, with Serum as the only required third-party plugin.
Funky Shock provides a solid foundation for producing mainstream Tech House tracks, offering both flexibility and a ready-to-use structure that you can easily modify and build upon.
What you need to work with this Ableton template:
