La Douceur is an Ableton template designed as a starting point for modern Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B productions. It features an emotional guitar loop, deep bass, laid-back pads, clean drums, and a distant choir.
With nearly every instrument set up as MIDI (except the guitar loop and effects), this project gives you full control to reshape and customize every sound and track. Swap out drum samples, tweak patterns, change melodies, edit Serum presets, or adjust the arrangement and BPM to match your own idea or topline. Whether you want to keep it mellow or flip it into something heavier with 808s and faster drums, the template is fully open for creativity.
La Douceur also works as a learning tool for producers exploring song structure, layering, and processing chains. Everything is editable and clearly organized for easy exploration.
As always, we’ve kept it clean and accessible - no third-party plugins required except Serum. The entire project is professionally mixed and mastered using only Ableton Live’s built-in effects.
Whether you’re making a chill beat, remixing, or just looking for new inspiration, La Douceur gives you a professional, flexible starting point to spark your next idea.
For your convenience, the template comes in two versions to ensure compatibility with both Serum 1 and Serum 2.
What you need to work with this Ableton template:
