Slow Motion is a Deep House Ableton template that is perfect for producing slow and moody mainstream Deep House tracks with a Middle Eastern flavor. The project blends laid-back but punchy house drums, an FM pluck-style bass, airy vocals, and a duduk-inspired synth that gives it that unique vibe.
Like all our Ableton templates, it’s a very open and customizable project. All the main elements come as MIDI tracks, so you can easily tweak anything you want - switch drum samples, reprogram drum patterns, adjust BPM, change melodies, tweak synth presets, automation, processing, structure, whatever you need. You can push it toward a more energetic club tune or keep the same slower feel.
Because everything is MIDI based, the template also works great for learning. You can dissect the project and see exactly how every sound was made - check each drum layer, play with the synth presets, explore the layering and processing, open the mastering chain, listen to every sound on its own, and get a clear picture of how the whole arrangement works.
The template is professionally mixed and mastered using Ableton Live Suite native effects. The only 3rd party plugin you need is Serum.
Since all the main parts are MIDI, you can save the clips, instrument racks, processing chains, and even the mastering chain to reuse them in your own productions.
Slow Motion is a solid starting point for any Deep House idea, and it gives you a lot of inspiration and ready-to-use sounds you can build on.
For your convenience, the template comes in two versions to ensure compatibility with both Serum 1 and Serum 2.
